- The handle is very angular and may make it tough to open drawers if dishwasher is located too near a corner cabinet
- The stainless tend to hold finger prints which means cleaning the exterior more often
Exterior:
The handle of this Sharp dishwasher is made of aluminum which helps with leaving fingerprints or showing smudges. The handle is mounted to a stainless-steel panel that is easy to clean. The control panel is fully integrated, touch controls. This means there are no buttons that you must worry about wearing out or lettering that will fade. There are 6 washing cycles and 7 options to customize the cycles. There is a blue LED light that shows when the cycle is finished. This simple exterior will help it to blend in with your kitchen for a comfortable replacement option.
Interior:
The stainless-steel interior is a real difference maker with the SDW6757ES dishwasher from Sharp. The racking will hold 14 place settings when loaded efficiently. The lower rack has ball bearing wheels to hold casserole dishes that can be placed over the Power Wash sprayer in the back left corner for extra scrubbing power. The second rack can be adjusted to accommodate different size dishes and glasses. The third, top rack can be removed if necessary. The top two racks are on smooth glide rails for a premium experience. The interior is sufficiently lit with two LED lights mounted in the top of the dishwasher. The dual stage filtration will minimize any debris from washing back over the dishes during the cycle. With a maximum dBA of 45 decibels Sharp has given us a whisper quiet dishwasher.
