How To Preform a Self-Test on the Miele KF 2902 SF

Below is a step by step guide to activating the Self-Test.

Step One: In settings mode (the icon that looks like a gear) use the arrows on the touchpad to select Self-Test and touch “OK” to confirm your selection. You can select the backward bending arrow to terminate the process.

Step Two: The system then will begin to check itself for faults or malfunctions.
- During this process the message “System Restart” will appear on the display if the if no faults are detected.
- If the Self-Test does discover any faults or malfunctions, they are shown on the display with the error message. An alarm will also sound at this time.

Step Three: The message “System Restart” will appear on the display when completed. The unit will shut down and then back on automatically. Upon restarting “Self Test Completed” will appear on the display.

Step Four: Confirm the message by touching “OK” on the display and the main screen will appear on the display again.
