Stronger door catch seems silly but as one of the common failure points on dryer this saver for you. Go ahead and slam that door… it can take it.
What we are not wild about with the GE GTX52EASPWB:
Exterior finish does not seem super durable. Other dryers in its class have a porcelain coating that resist scratching better.
The metal used for construction is very thin making for an overall lighter dryer. This can lead to raddles and other noises down the line.
