The minimalist design of this Fisher & Paykel quad door refrigerator will not dominate your kitchen.
The variable temperature zone in the lower right door will allow you to convert for freezer or fresh food. This flexibility will bend itself to the way you purchase groceries and prepare meals.
Low operating decibels means this Fisher & Paykel refrigerator will be quieter while it runs. This is a great advantage when there are hard woods or tile in the kitchen.
What we are not wild about with the Fisher & Paykel Quad Door:
The overall capacity for this unit is lower than others in its class. As a main refrigerator you would be well served to use the variable temperature zone as additional fresh food storage and have a separate freezer.
No external ice dispenser means that ice will have to be scooped from the freezer compartment. While this does allow for faster ice production and better ice storage it can be inconvenient. There is an external water dispenser on this model.
There is an external water filter for this model. This means that the filter will have to be located behind the refrigerator, in the cabinet next to the refrigerator or beneath the refrigerator in the basement. This is another inconvenience for the water and ice system.
