Bill & Rod’s Appliance Celebrates the White Lake Showroom Grand Opening
Bill & Rod’s Appliance, Inc. has opened their second location in White Lake, MI. “This is an exciting time for us as we embark on this new adventure.” said Joe Legato, third generation family owner. Legato also noted the hard work and sacrifice that his grandfather, Rod, put in, but really highlighted the work of his parents. How they came in with a servant’s heart and a desire to help those who stood with them to succeed.
Many brands of appliances will be represented in this new store. There is 6300 square feet of showroom space that will showcase Miele, SubZero, Wolf, Cove, Asko, Monogram, Electrolux, KithenAid, Café Appliances and more. All will be displayed in their clean, well-lit showroom to provide an exquisite shopping experience.
“Our appliance and grill partners have really been great supporters of this move. They have committed to us product that will meet the needs of our extended community not only in White Lake but extended again to our Livonia store.” Legato adds.
The best part of all this is that they have the support staff to take care of you for years after the purchase. Their factory authorized technicians and installers will ensure your appliances run right from the start. Bill & Rod’s Appliance, Inc. also carries appliance parts at both locations and have parts available online. Customers can order from the website and have them shipped directly from the distributor to their home. There is also an eBay store for discontinued, hard to find or refurbished parts. Bill & Rod’s Appliance, Inc. was founded in 1963 by Legato’s Grandfather, Aloysius “Rod” Rodrigues, after he left the Army. Rod ran the store till 1975 when he passed away suddenly from aggressive cancer. Rod’s soon to be son-in-law, Kim Legato, was doing service and deliveries at the time. He stepped in to take up the reigns with Linda, Rod’s daughter, and together they built a firm foundation and established a reputation for excellent service. Their son Joe joined full time with the family business in 2008, helping to grow the appliance retail portion of the business. In 2022 Kim & Linda Legato both retired as Joe picked up the mantle to carry on the family business.
